AppointAuto is a free directory that helps drivers find auto service shops. By using appointauto.com you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
What AppointAuto is, and is not
AppointAuto lists smog check stations, tire shops, mechanics and other auto service businesses so you can compare them and contact them directly. We are not a repair shop, we do not perform or guarantee any service, and we are not a party to anything you agree with a shop. Prices, hours, licenses and services are set by each business.
Listing information
Listings are compiled from public and openly licensed sources (see data sources). They can be incomplete, out of date or wrong. Always call the shop to confirm hours, prices and services before you go, and check a license on the state's own website when it matters to you.
A listing is not a recommendation. Being listed, the order of listings and any label such as "licensed" do not mean that we recommend, endorse, inspect or vouch for a business. We are not affiliated with the businesses listed unless a page clearly says so. Ordering is based on data completeness and public license status, never on payment.
Business owners
If you own or manage a listed business, you can claim the listing for free, ask for corrections, or ask us to remove it on the removal and correction page. When you claim a listing you confirm that you are authorized to act for the business and that the details you send are accurate.
Acceptable use
You may use the site for your own, non-commercial search for auto services. You may not:
- copy, scrape or download the directory in bulk, or use automated tools that ignore our robots.txt or put an unreasonable load on the site;
- use the site or its data to send spam, harass businesses, or build a competing database;
- send false claims, removal requests or feedback, or impersonate someone else;
- try to break, probe or bypass the site's security.
We may block access that breaks these rules.
Content and data licenses
The site design, text, guides and images (except where credited) are © AppointAuto. Listing data from third parties stays under its own license, listed on the data sources page. Logos and business names belong to their owners.
Links to other sites
Shop websites, Google Maps, Yelp and government sites linked from AppointAuto are run by others. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
No warranty
The site is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, AppointAuto is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your dealings with a business you found through the site. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site is limited to US $100. Some states do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
Changes and law
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and continued use means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
