AppointData sources and attribution
AppointAuto combines openly licensed place data with official state license records. We do not copy listings, reviews or ratings from Google Maps or Yelp; links to them only send you to their own pages.

Listing data © Overture Maps Foundation and its contributors, used under CDLA-Permissive-2.0. License data courtesy of the California Bureau of Automotive Repair. AppointAuto's listing data does not include OpenStreetMap data; if a future source does, we will credit "© OpenStreetMap contributors" here and on the pages that use it, as the ODbL requires.
How we keep it current
- Place data is refreshed from new Overture releases.
- The California BAR license list is downloaded again before each rebuild; only active licenses are shown.
- Shop websites are checked automatically; a website that no longer exists is removed from the listing.
- Listings without a phone number and address are not offered to search engines.
Limits
Open data can be wrong or outdated: a shop may have closed, moved or changed its number. Listings are not endorsements, and we do not show opening hours because no reliable open source exists for them. Please call before you go.
Report a mistake
Business owners can claim a listing for free from its page, or ask for a correction or removal on the removal and correction page.
