# Remove or correct a listing

If you own or manage a listed business, you can ask us to correct its details or remove it from AppointAuto. We answer every request within 5 business days, and a removal takes effect within 10 business days.

## How to send a request

Open the business's page on AppointAuto (search on the directory).
At the bottom of the page, choose Request removal or correction.
Fill in the short form. We may call the phone number on the listing to confirm the request comes from the business.

Can't find the page, or are you asking about something other than a business listing? Email [admin@appointauto.com](mailto:admin@appointauto.com) with the business name, address and what you need.

## What happens next

- **Corrections** (phone, website, address, services) go live after we confirm them.
- **Removals** take the listing off the directory and out of our sitemaps. The business is kept on a do-not-list record so it does not come back in a later data update.
- Search engines may show the old page for a few days until they crawl it again.

## Prefer to keep the listing?

Claiming a listing is free and lets you keep your details correct and get a monthly report of the drivers who called you, visited your website or asked for directions. Use **Claim this listing** on the business's page.
